关于我们

The name nǐdǎo combines nǐ 你 (you/your) and dǎo 导 (guide). Quite simply, we are your guide in China.

Our name also recalls the word nǐhǎo (你好) — the universal “hello” in Chinese — and the very first word we suggest you learn as you begin your journey in China.

China is vast and diverse—its scale is closer to a continent than a single country. It offers breathtaking landscapes, rich traditions, and living history, yet also presents challenges: overwhelming distances, fast-paced development, and the commercialization of famous sites. Without the right guidance, it is easy to miss the hidden beauty and authentic encounters that make a journey unforgettable.

That’s where we come in. With local knowledge, cultural insight, and an understanding of your personal style, nǐdǎo helps you make the right choices—so you return home with not just memories, but a deeper connection to China.

We don’t sell group tours. We don’t push standard packages. We help you design the journey that speaks to your heart.

Simone

I have been living in China for the past eight years, between Shanghai, Chongqing, and Dalian. I hold an academic background in Tourism Management in China and Cultural Heritage in Italy. I love planning travels and discovering less-known places, with a particular passion for architecture, art, history, nature, and socio-economic insights. My best travels so far include the Trans-Mongolian Railway and the Chinese provinces of Guizhou, Fujian, and Sichuan.

Native to Chongqing, I have also lived in Shanghai and Amsterdam, giving me a clear perspective on both Chinese and Western cultures. With solid experience in marketing and event planning, I bring passion and organization to everything I do. I love traveling to discover beauty and experience the unique vibes of our amazing world. My most memorable travels? Switzerland, Italy, Mexico, and of course, the Chinese regions of Yunnan and Guangdong.
